Joanna Hillman.

 Be bold in stripes.
Pair t-shirts and dresses with striking jewellery or statement jackets for effortless glamour.
Have fun with leopard print to bring texture or pattern to a look.
Joanna Hillman-Senior Fashion Market Editor, Harper's Bazaar US.  Incredible style, total babe, and always showcasing the most hip designers and cool concoctions. Her photographed outfits consist of unexpected creations from some of my very favourite designers. 3.1 Philip Lim, Proenza Schouler, Dries Van Noten, Alexander Wang, Mawi, J-brand, Yves Saint Laurent, Marni, Chanel to name a few. She always looks immaculate, and effortless rolled in to one (if this is possible?) I kind of wish she was featured more, although the mystery keeps on intriguing me. Harpers.. if you are out there- I'd love to read an  interview with her? Can you imagine what treasures lurk in her closet? Katie.x

Would love to have you as a friend on twitter or Bloglovin'

autumn treasure.

I couldn't resist shooting some close ups of the beautiful Mawi necklace seen in the previous post. The chain and bow clasp detail are rose gold plaited, and the droplets are silver. It seemed to perfectly compliment the rich colours of autumn and the fallen apples from a tree.... playing with the idea of 'accessorising nature'. Katie.xx

would love you to become a bloglovin' or twitter friend.

jewelled leopard.

laughter, lights, rainy nights, leopard, camel and Mawi jewels. What I was wearing on Friday evening....

I had a look over some of my earlier posts and realised my personality doesn't always show, so here are some of snaps you rarely see of the smiles and giggles. For those who know I have been ill for the past year, another reason to smile- I'm starting to notice there are more and more moments of feeling well again, and I keep fighting like crazy to be 100% while continuing to increase my hours at work. As for the laughter, good job there's no sound on this post, I have such a raucous laugh.
- also forgot to mention I watched 'The social network' movie on Thursday night, such an incredible story and very inspiring. ( I mean setting up a site that eventually led to the creation of facebook while drunk and getting 22,000 hits in 2 hours?) well worth watching.

aztec.

Almost head to toe in asos... got to love their site this a/w, probably not the only one to notice how their styling has improved so much lately? If you haven't already I would click to view their ASOS white, and ASOS black just launched capsule collections.
.... On a not so hot note, I have been having a nightmare with their delivery services. I opted for 'stylesaver' and the result- some of my order was canceled. ( even though my items were ordered as soon as they arrived on site )With my next order I selected next day delivery ( paid £5.99 for the service ) the item showed up 3 days later!)I also have my eye on a coat which keeps showing 'out of stock'..... fingers crossed they restock.
The plus side- I reallllly love the things that did show up.(these boots and blanket style wrap )

(wearing- aztec wrap- asos, tee- asos, skirt-henry holland, asos leather boots (remind me of the acne pistol booties, cicrca leather weekend bag)

a-maze.

Sunday began with reading The Sunday Times Style supplement in bed ( a ritual since about aged 14 ), going for a swim, a delicious lunch ( blueberry, feta, spinach, melon, tomato, cucumber & olive salad with balsamic ) and then out to the Uk's tallest elephant grass MAZE. My boyfriend lifted me up so I could take a shot to show you how sprawling it was. We had so many laughs getting lost, running through the grass and goofing about.... we only managed to find 2 out of 4 clues to win a free ice cream whoops.... I was getting tired. We gave in,  and had homemade ice cream as a treat anyway- I chose turkish delight, while my boyfriend had some triple chocolate.
Hope you all had fun this weekend? Katie.x

hot streets.

striking red to make a statement.
Classic white blouse with an edgy twist.
Pale grey teamed with acid yellow/green seen on beautiful Taylor and Hanneli.
Denim, leather and leopard is always an outstanding mix.
Leopard can also look so chic and glamourous.
Anja taking many breathes away in rust coloured Chloe.
I adore all shades of grey ... always love Joanna Hillman ( check out the Mawi necklace- swoon ) & Taylor Tomasi Hill.

Fashion week can only mean one thing- lots of people with an incredible eye, style, beautiful clothes, figures and faces all in one place. Add some insanely good photographers, and the result is more than drool worthy.....
The streets can be as good as, and in some cases better than the catwalks.
