There was something so idyllic about the deserted beach, glistening sea and rippled sand combined with the rusty structure of the old pier. Spending almost 24/7 city living makes me crave and appreciate these moments even more if thats even possible.

I have this photograph saved to my desktop- 
discovered one day while scouring interior blogs. For about 4 years I have searched for the perfect globe but never had any success... maybe Im just too picky, or not looked in the right place or more recently worried they are almost too predictable, and I should steer clear? No escaping the fact that this collection is divine.

New shoes.

Aside from the converse purchase, It has been a while since I treated myself to a new pair of shoes, so when I spied these from 'Deena & Ozzy' at Urban Outfitters on my way home from work I knew they would be coming with me.

Somehow they remind me of standard issue school shoes in the navy leather, however the wedge and cut out detail to the front give them a whole new perspective. I hope to wear them with thick tights in the winter and some sort of peter pan collared dress, so for now Im thinking of pairing them with a navy short suit and bare legs? Any thoughts?

Thanks to Selfridges sale it found its way home with me. I love the red leather and think it would double up as the perfect oversized clutch.
