navy blue & green.

I cant help but turn my thoughts far far too soon to the amazing colour palette heading our way this winter. I adore navy blue, green and burgundy in equal amounts, classic and sophisticated.... yet much more appealing and kinder against winter skin than black.
( although I admit finding a stunning black winter coat is still somewhere in my mind )

Just a quick preview of the outfit post on its way tomorrow!
Hope you are having a fun weekend.

what makes me tick August.

Miroslavas jewelled collar, the pristine pink trouser against the black, stunning collection of objects, sleek hair masculine tailoring, smouldering Abbey lee, crazy prints and cigarettes.
Just a few photography finds I have been so inspired by this month.

skulls on my toes.

A much needed new pair of flats, complete with miniature gunmetal skull heads, suede and patent... I love the contrast of the skulls against such a delicate shoe- they are the perfect pair to throw on in the day, or dress down a dress in the evening.

Kate- needs no words.

After realising we were both kind of head to toe in The Kooples we had to have a picture....
my addiction continues- seriously check out the new 'look' and 'couples' for autumn winter and prepare to swoooooon and crave lots.

Just cant help but get lost in books, magazines, and interior blogs at the moment.

If only this was what I was doing and where I was right now. Counting down 5 weeks until I escape on holiday once more!
Have you any get away plans?

I keep saving images to my desktop for daily quick fix inspiration- these are the latest!

striking stripes.

So I finally got around to sharing the rest of these holiday outfit/ scarf snaps with you. Although the weather in the Uk for me has been decidedly grey I cant seem to tear myself away from the brightest colours. Now I must get ready for to work. Hope it goes fast!

New shoes.

Aside from the converse purchase, It has been a while since I treated myself to a new pair of shoes, so when I spied these from 'Deena & Ozzy' at Urban Outfitters on my way home from work I knew they would be coming with me.
Somehow they remind me of standard issue school shoes in the navy leather, however the wedge and cut out detail to the front give them a whole new perspective. I hope to wear them with thick tights in the winter and some sort of peter pan collared dress, so for now Im thinking of pairing them with a navy short suit and bare legs? Any thoughts?
Hope you all had a great weekend.
