pretty military.


I was waiting for a gloriously sunny day like yesterday to pick out this delicate lilac Topshop number, and the palest pink suede wedges.( a little Sonia Rykiel in style?) To lessen the sickly sweet vibe I paired them with this lightweight khaki shirt/jacket. 
My all time 'loves' summed up are all things oversized, and the contrasts of loose and tight, delicate and grungy, feminine and masculine... having fun with a beautiful-ugly style...
I also look fairly awful in bright colours and so this sorbet palette of late is kind to me!

    That dress absolutely made me gush!!!!! I do like the pairing of the "rough" jacket with the delicate dress. It is so sweet and innocent with a touch of badass... To the person who commented on the shoes: Who cares if the shoes are last season: I worked in the fashion industry on the designing side, and the modeling side, and the only people who truly cared about the season were the rich elite and fashion snobs... You don't have to be a fashion snob to love and have great fashion, so screw the snobs and rock what you got! You look great girl!

    ^^ on the comment above: what i mean is, outside of people actually in the "here and now in fashion", it doesn't matter what you wear as long as it looks good and you feel good in it! Just wanted to clear that up so I didn't sound completely ignorant!!!! (that comment was more to the other readers than to the writer, becuase you obviously know this already, being a fashionista with great style and sense).
