laid back luxury.


The first outing for my new lipstick, and also the first time for sharing a treasured item with you. 
The alligator clutch bag was brought back from Africa by my dad's dad, a squadron leader in the 2nd world war, who collected unusual pieces from places he visited. A rare piece which always attracts a lot of attention. It is something I would have never bought and don't believe in, but it holds a lot of history, and is therefore very special.

    Everything about this post is ultra luxe. The lipstick does look effortlessly chic, but that bag - how interesting! I love that it has family history.

    I love that the bag has a story behind it, the lipstick really suits you too. I love how all the colours in this picture mesh so well together!
