Thankyou for spending 2010 with me here on Fashionclocked.

Goodbye to one of my toughest years ever- fighting illness and never quite knowing what each month would bring. Im almost better- just continuing a battle with what has become ME and the insane tiredness, and frustration it brings.

Creating this post really brought home to me how far I have come, from such a fragile state to almost back to feeling like myself. Its unbelievable how writing a blog has given me focus, a sense of achievement and something to work towards each week. I cant thank you enough.

kimono fur.

Since my boyfriends sister brought me this Kimono back from a trip to China and Thailand I have been desperate to show you. Finally found the time on these days surrounding Christmas to photograph it. I like the idea of wearing it dressed down for daytime, or with fur for an unexpected mix. I love the rich navy blue shade, and the way it is covered in beautiful peacocks- I should really show you a close up! Katie.x

 my dining room ceiling is hanging with beautiful oversized 3-d snowflakes.

 although I don't eat them, I have made mince pies for everyone.

 finally wrapped all the presents..it took FOREVER.

Christmas Eve, the perfect time to share my December treasures with you. I hope you are all excited for what tomorrow may bring- time with friends and family, sharing presents, catching up and Celebrating a special time... together with too much food, drinks and gorgeous table decorations....

The countdown is over, Christmas Day is almost upon us... let the sales begin. Next is famous for it's massive reductions and crazy early opening hours. I have being eyeing up a few items that may be be sale candy- love these boots, the cool leather pouch tassle bag here  and this  cape to wear over a coat. Katie.xx

Chanel yeti Birthday fun.

So here is my full Birthday outfit post, what I wore in the day , changing jeans for a dress in the evening. The snow is proving to be a beautiful backdrop for the outfit photos.

 I purchased this coat last Winter before I became ill - you can imagine my shock when Karl lagerfeld produced a yeti fur collection just like this the following spring for Chanel!! CRAZY. (click here for the collection) The shoes are Topshop boutique from last Winter too, and the ultimate party shoe. ( Relieved they took so kindly to the snow... )

I had such an amazing day and went out for a phenomenal meal last night.  Although I asked for money, I was truly spoilt with a few presents too. I will show you on Friday with a December photo diary.x
