unseen summer 2.

More of the unseen summer.
Sometimes it's all too easy to forget what we have. It can be so rewarding to take a breath and re-cap on what you have achieved. I always try to fill my blog with positivity, creativity and share with you the good things, however life is hard and full of highs and lows.
I continue with my battle to full health, and although im getting there, could never have anticipated it would take quite this long. It's hard to believe I started this blog from a wheelchair. It just proves with determination you can certainly achieve your wildest dreams. All too often we are oblivious to what other people are going through, just taking care of how you dress and present yourself can provide an air of well-being, which isn't always the case. Whatever life throws at us can certainly makes us stonger, more understanding and hopefully more balanced people.

Reflecting on all the positives of this summer has helped me appreciate all the simple things.
On a lighter note....
Let's hope when you are reading this, like the last photos says... I will be swimming in the sea. ( just not with clive..)

unseen summer 1.

The first set of unseen summer photos.

So many memories of days filled with woodland walks, horse racing, seaside wanders, day trips to Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, weekends away in the Lakes, city stop in Manchester, overnight stays in Leeds, dining out, discovering new places, shopping, spending as much time outdoors as possible, eating twister lollies, sitting on the beach watching men on jet skis, visiting a nearby boating lake, fun with friends, relaxing at the seafront while people fly kites overhead, art gallery trips, fireworks, and forever hoping for another sunshine filled moment.
Look out for more summer memories coming up...

Katie's 2010 final catwalk reports.

10. Knitwear- wear both day & night- oversized and slouchy seen at Michael Kors & Alexander Wang, or keep a sleek silhouette with simple knits at Stella McCartney.

11. leather- add leather for a tough edge or pair with a crisp white shirt for a sleek celine inspired look.
lace- work it for the daytime too- look out for a masculine shirt made of delicate lace- seen at Burberry Prorsum.

12. Rich hues and offbeat colours pack an awesome punch. Look out for gold, ochre, rust, khaki and wine.

The final part of my Autumn/Winter 2010 catwalk reports. If you have missed the 1st and 2nd installments, check them out here, and here. Im sure I will be incorporating many of these trends in outfits over the next few months.
