Navajo Fur Clutch D.I.Y.

Meet the latest addition to the D.I.Y family. 

Initial intentions to make an oversized fur clutch improved a million percent when I landed on this stunning navajo inspired silk remnant. 

The outcome = A reversible Clutch bag.

All sewn by hand, so no sewing machine required. Make time approx 3 hours.

The first outing for my new lipstick, and also the first time for sharing a treasured item with you. 

The alligator clutch bag was brought back from Africa by my dad's dad, a squadron leader in the 2nd world war, who collected unusual pieces from places he visited. A rare piece which always attracts a lot of attention. It is something I would have never bought and don't believe in, but it holds a lot of history, and is therefore very special.

Thankyou for spending 2010 with me here on Fashionclocked.

Goodbye to one of my toughest years ever- fighting illness and never quite knowing what each month would bring. Im almost better- just continuing a battle with what has become ME and the insane tiredness, and frustration it brings.

Creating this post really brought home to me how far I have come, from such a fragile state to almost back to feeling like myself. Its unbelievable how writing a blog has given me focus, a sense of achievement and something to work towards each week. I cant thank you enough.

 finally wrapped all the presents..it took FOREVER.

Christmas Eve, the perfect time to share my December treasures with you. I hope you are all excited for what tomorrow may bring- time with friends and family, sharing presents, catching up and Celebrating a special time... together with too much food, drinks and gorgeous table decorations....
